Frontier has two internet networks spread across the US: Frontier Fiber and Frontier Internet. The Frontier Fiber plans are worth considering, especially the value-packed Frontier Fiber 500 package.

Frontier’s Fiber 500 may be one of the best internet plans in the US, and we recommend grabbing it if it’s in your area. We usually suggest at least 100 Mbps download speeds for families, which runs about $50 per month depending on your provider. Frontier Fiber 500 is five times faster than our recommendation for the same price—a sweet deal for sure.

But if you have to have gigabit speeds, Frontier Fiber Gig is a great way to take advantage of Frontier’s fiber-optic network. It’s not the cheapest gig plan on the market, but it’s still worth it for the 1,000 Mbps you’re getting.

Frontier also offers a DSL internet plan called Frontier Internet, and the download speeds vary by area. You can follow the link in the table above to find out more.

Frontier doesn’t have its own service for new TV customers—if you want TV along with Frontier internet, getting a bundle with YouTube TV, our top pick for live TV streaming services, is your best bet.

Frontier internet customers will get $10 off their YouTube TV subscription for the first twelve months—a $120 savings. After the discount, YouTube TV costs an extra $62.99 per month on top of your internet plan. You can pick which Frontier internet plan you’d like to bundle with; for example, the Fiber 500 plan bundled with YouTube TV will turn out to be $112.98 monthly.

Frontier home phone plans and prices

Frontier offers home phone services in some areas, but the prices and features vary by area. You can check for Frontier home phone availability and plans while ordering Frontier Internet.

That said, who has a landline these days? TBH, not many of us, but it can be a cheap alternative to cell phone service if staying connected still means hearing a voice rather than staring at a screen.

Final take: Is Frontier worth it?

If you live in an area with Frontier Fiber, it’s an excellent option for internet—and according to our customer survey, it has reliable customer support too. We especially recommend Frontier Fiber’s 500 plan.

Your mileage may vary with Frontier Internet (the DSL service). Check for the speeds in your area before you sign up.
